Tournament update.png

First of all, thank you so much for being patient with us as we navigate these unprecedented circumstances. As we’re sure you can appreciate, we are currently on hold waiting for Health Canada, Canadian Soccer and Soccer Nova Scotia to advise on any event to happen in the near or distant future. With this in mind, we still have the fields booked and our volunteer staff are sitting at the ready to move forward if we are given an all clear by the above.

While we are sitting here with crossed fingers and toes, we understand the health of our beloved players, coaches, referees, families, fans and volunteers is the most important thing at this time. It is our plan to send out regular updates as we move forward knowing that at some point, we will have to make a decision on this spring’s event.

As a fair play and not-for-profit tournament, all proceeds from our tournament go to three memorial scholarship funds – one at Soccer Nova Scotia, one at Mount Saint Vincent University and one at Ridgecliff Middle School. We care about our community, this event and, of course, the memories of Sheila and Steph that we honour through our tournament. Because of this, we are passionate about making our 18th consecutive year happen – whether it be in May, or later in 2020 if need be. We will keep you posted on our decision. Until then, please stay safe and stay well.
